I'm in my 29th year in public education. Twelve years teaching elementary school and my 17th year as a school counselor. I've always been called to help others. My weight control journey started at the age of 10 where it was normal for the women in my family to be on some type of diet. I've done it all: The Cabbage Soup Diet, The 21 Fat Gram Solution, Weight Watchers (I even hit lifetime member status, but then stopped everything once I hit my "goal weight" and it all came back) and many more. It wasn't until I realized my issues revolved around how I used food for so much more than fueling my body. Every emotion was met with a comforting food, every celebration included food. I finally had to break free from the yo-yo diet cycle and create a healthy relationship with food, once and for all. I love helping others find that balance as well. I couldn't have found a better fit than Nutrition and Life Coaching. I am happily married for almost 20 years and have 2 amazing sons, ages 15 and 17. I am a 500 RYT (registered yoga teacher), certified Nutrition and Life Coach, and I LOVE being outdoors especially if it includes pine trees, the "BER" months of fall, and playing games with the family.

I currently offer one-on-one coaching sessions via zoom designed to help clients transform their habits, integrate balance into their life, mindfully nourish their body and empower them to find peace and calm.
